 Please help little Yuri!!! Yuri´s mother Gayane tells that despite her difficult pregnancy, physicians confirmed several times that the baby was going to be healthy. During the delivery, however, several mistakes take place that harm her baby. Moreover, doctors openly ask her husband for money in a peculiar situation when she is unconsciously lying on the operating table. Later on the members of stuff of the hospital try to hide the fact that her child has been injured during the delivery. The next morning after birth, she receives a very vulgar and rude treatment from the nurses, who keep complaining that her child is unbearable and screamed all night long disturbing their peace and quiet. - "The very minute I called my husband and asked to be replaced with the child to Muratsan Children's Hospital"; continues the mother. "After 20 days we brought the baby home, as doctors claim he was healthy. However he was very anxious and was crying all day long. Each time when we were taking him to the hospital, they were saying "… there is nothing wrong; it will pass by the time". Yuri was growing up and I was feeling that his development and growth were not going on properly. The doctors however, were blaming it on the fact that he was born earlier than he was supposed to and that he needed more time. When Yuri became about 8 months old, I was very worried and took him to various specialists. We took him to the 3rd children´s hospital where we were told that the baby has had a baby stroke, and possibly has West syndrome (shock/epileptic spasms) . The pediatrician Jasmine Karlenovna told us to forget this child and advised us to start planning other healthy children as long as we are still young, since this child will never become a "normal" inheritor to us. After going through all these were mentally out of balance, had a big depression and several days of extreme conditions. Nevertheless we gathered ourselves and decided to fight for our son. We applied to various specialists, went to Arbkir Centre to Nana Ashotovna. There we received drugs, expensive and ineffective, a long list of expensive drugs from all around the world. From other parents were told that the hormones stop the epileptic spasms, and again several times we offered to use hormones for the therapy of our son, but were receiving prescriptions for drugs and medications, so that all of our income was gone for drugs. In this therapy marathon we met Narine Manukyan, the director of a local NGO "Armenian Mothers" who offered us to participate in the free therapy sessions several times a year. Thanks to her, I realized that this is not just a fight but a long walk ahead to overcome our problem. Our major problem, however, the epileptic spasms did not stop". "With the help of my husband's uncle we took the child to Russia for the medical examination. The tests demonstrated that the neck of Yuri was injured and that most probably it happened during the birth. We returned home and asked another doctor Mr. Vaghinakichin to finally prescribe him hormone-therapy. He *** angry, founding out that Yuri did not receive any such therapy yet. When we told him about the amount of medicines our son had to take, he stated that it would just ruin his body, and would make him loose his sight. In the meantime Nana Ashotovnan found out that we visited other doctors, and told that she is going to remove our child from her patient-list and that anyways it is too late to help him. Later we started receiving hormones, but the body of our sun cannot tolerate it. Now we are standing on the edge of a cliff. The epileptic spasms are destroying his brain cells and his little organism. Every single day is crucial for us. But we've exhausted all our financial means, borrowed money from all possible and impossible people and places. Yuri urgently needs to continue his treatment/therapy abroad, for which we have no money, since we hardly earn money to provide food for our little baby. Please help us to save our little sunshine!
