Interview with Hripsime Mamikonyan (member of Polonia) Hripsime Mamikonyan is actively engaged in the Polish community for several years now. Although she is not actually of Polish descent she studied Polish language and has been in Poland quite a few times. In 2006 she won a competition which gave her a chance to go study at the best University in Poland through a scholarship. She studied management there. She gives language courses, does administrative work and takes part in the organisation of social and festive activities at Polonia. She also gives Polish dance classes and has written several articles for the magazine. On the 20th of September Hripsime leaves for Poland again to do her PHD in history there. Despite her busy schedule she fortunately had time to do a short interview with us about Polonia and her activities in the community.
