My cash app unemployment deposit for over $10k failed. I was informed this is bc it is over 10k. That's fine. But now where is my money? It has not been returned to PUA and so far support with the cash app has been very helpful and practically responsive. I've read a lot about this happening to people and them never getting their money. This is a huge amount and I can't just let it go. So I made a call to cash app customer service and the live representative is helping me to get my money.
UPDATE: I just received a notice from unemployment that the funds were returned. Cash App support responded finally today stating they had sent the money back. I'm thankful as hell. This was scary. Lesson learned. Just go with a traditional bank.
