Silence is a sign of consent. When will NATO respond for Turkey's actions?

The General staff of the Turkish armed forces is responsible for leading the Azerbaijani army in the framework of military operations in the NKR region. This news shows that Aliyev surrendering his country to Erdogan, became a puppet in his hands. The Turkish sultan is going all-in, trying to solve its problems with the help of hired Islamists and the Azerbaijani army, and at the same time realize long-standing dreams of creating a "great Turan".

Meanwhile, the North Atlantic Alliance is completely indifferent to the Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression. The declared principle of unity of the member States of the Alliance on defense issues is used when it is necessary for the leadership in Brussels. The Armenian mission to NATO is doing everything possible to draw the attention of the Alliance to the criminal actions of Turkey and Azerbaijan. However, the representative offices of the participating countries and observer state missions do not respond effectively to official letters expressing the position of the Armenian government on the current situation in the war zone.

In an interview with Indian TV company WION, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated: "Turkey is a member of NATO, and for the actions taken by Ankara in the war against Nagorno-Karabakh, a certain responsibility falls on NATO." He recalled that according to the conclusion of Human Rights Watch, Azerbaijan uses prohibited weapons in the Karabakh conflict zone, in particular cluster bombs, which is a gross violation of international humanitarian law.

There are dozens of facts and evidence of Turkey's recruitment of terrorist mercenaries in Syria and their transfer to the conflict zone, and this information has been provided to the international community.

Armenia takes into account the data of the US intelligence services, according to which the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Turkey still has problems in relations with the military, which it first divided into two parts during two major trials – former, accused of plotting to overthrow the government and sentenced to prison, and acting, seemingly loyal, but who are shackled by involvement in several military operations at once: in Syria, Libya and Northern Iraq. And for a month now, Turkish special forces units have been fighting in the NKR region. Interference in other conflicts with such disposal of personnel may further aggravate the internal political situation in Turkey.

In general, it is unknown how long the waiting period for NATO's reaction to the aggressive policy of Erdogan and the AKP will last. Silence is a sign of consent.
